Wallace "Wally" Adams Irwin Jr. born to Wallace Irwin Sr and Sally Irwin, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, January 11, 1937. He passed peacefully on January 30, 2026, surrounded by family. Preceded in death by his wife, Willa Deen Lange, son Donald Irwin Sr. and grandson Donald Irwin Jr.
Married to Willa Deen Lange, October 6, 1956. The couple had three children, Donald Sr, Colleen (Larry) Moss, Nancy (Mike) Ketchum. Five grandchildren, Donald Jr., David (Tessa) Ketchum and Bryan (Erica) Ketchum. Alexis and Jason Moss; four great grandchildren, Khloe, Derrek, Mason and Illithea. Wally enjoyed his family, but most important to him was being a grandpa.
Wally had a passion for photography and enjoyed many outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, walking the hills and gardening. He loved his dog, Lucy.
Wally was a Fireman for the City of Grand Junction for 28 years, moving on to become a Park Ranger, Grounds Keeper and photographer.
