Vincent Tekanski

Born on April 20, 1956, in Leadville, Colorado, Vincent lived a life centered on family, hard work, and the simple joys that brought him happiness. He spent many years working in the auto glass industry and was known for his strong work ethic and mechanical talents. Vincent enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, fishing, camping, and cheering on his favorite football teams. He also had a special bond with his beloved dog, Freddy, who was a constant companion.

Above all else, Vincent loved his family dearly. He treasured the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews, and his love for them was evident in everything he did.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, Vince Tekansik and Wanda Henley; his son, Michael Tekansik; his brother, Daniel Tekansik; and his sister, Patricia Nance.

Vincent is survived by his children, Toby (Emma) Tekansik, Daniel (Stacey) Tekansik, and Jessica Bills; his brother, Christopher (Teeny) Tekansik; his sister, Robin Henley; his sister, Stacia Anne Gerber; his grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered for his devotion to family, his willingness to lend a helping hand, his love of the outdoors, and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved him.

Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on through the family and friends whose lives he touched.
