Terri Lynn Fletcher

November 23, 1963 — April 29, 2024

Ms. Terri Lynn Fletcher made her debut on November 23, 1963 born to James D. and Maxine
Fletcher in Washington DC. She left us after battling cancer fearlessly and peacefully on April
29, 2024. Terri spent her life for family and mostly resided on the Western slope. It's difficult and
not realistic to believe we are even writing this as life cannot be imagined without Terri. Terri was
a light of sense of humor at all family events she made the party laugh hysterically for hours to
the point of no turning back. She was a mother, a daughter, a sister and a friend. Her glowing
beauty could be seen with brightness, uniqueness and she loved hairspray and make up the
girly things she even was a model for a portion of her life! Terri loved her cats, her children, her
family, her nieces, nephews and most of all the small things. Her style was to stroll in casually,
let loose and have fun! Why can't we all live that way, there would be no worries at all! As Terri's
illness developed she continued to fight many physical and silent battles. She never gave up.
She is survived by her mother Maxine Fletcher sister Debbie and brothers JJ and Keith and her
sons Jeremiah Harris and Jordan Ortego and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. As
Marilyn Monroe would say, "We are all of us stars, and we deserve to twinkle." Terri you deserve
to twinkle and until we meet again your legacy will live through and shine on! A celebration of
life will occur at New Covenant Baptist Church on May the 18th, at 1130 am, service and lunch to
follow.
