Terrance Shane Woolcott, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on October 20, 2025, in Fruita, Colorado, at the age of 89. Born on December 15, 1935, in Iowa, Terry lived a life filled with love, joy, and memorable moments shared with family and friends.

Terry was a devoted husband to MaryAnn, with whom he spent many happy years. The couple married on February 8, 1992, forging a bond that was evident in the way they looked at one another—often igniting laughter that filled their home. Their evenings were marked by serene moments spent side by side in rocking chairs on the front porch, where cherished discussions and laughter became the backdrop to their peaceful nights. Terry found immense joy in taking drives through the countryside with MaryAnn, embarking on little adventures that always concluded with a treat—big bowls of ice cream and cookies prominently featured on their grocery list. A dinner of ribs from the local diner, accompanied by Texas fries and sweet tea, often sufficed for these two lovebirds.

A man of boundless love, Terry welcomed children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren into his life, embracing each of them with open arms. He had a knack for making everyone feel special and loved, asking nothing in return for the affection he so generously offered.

Terry had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, once enjoying hunting during his younger, sprier days. He cherished trips to the top of the mountains, where he would gaze over the breathtaking Grand Mesa valley, reflecting on the beauty of nature. His hobbies extended to the fascinating world of Ham Radio, connecting with friends across the airwaves, and exploring American Native Indian history, which included crafting teepees—activities that illustrated his curious and adventurous spirit.

Terry Woolcott was also predeceased by his parents, James and Kitty Woolcott; daughters Tina Woolcott, Julie Dodd; daughter-in-law Sissy Woolcott.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his children: Annette (Michael) Ozgowicz; Linette (Edward) Hall; Robert (Teresa) Woolcott; Debra Meeks; Christine (Lawrence) Nordine; Donald Woolcott; Colleen (Russell) Edwards; Brian (Kathy) Edwards; Art (Rebecca) Lewis; son-in-law Richard Dodd.
