Sharon Young

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Lou Young on September 29,2025, at the age of 74, Sharon was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister whose love and strength touched everyone around her.

Born on June 20, 1951 Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Jean Shaw; her daughter Richelle Nicklas; grandson Brandon Nicklas; sister Juanita; and brothers Ed, Rick, Randy and Greg.

She is survived by her son Scott (Kristin)Thomas; brother Robert Shaw; grandchildren Camren Thomas, Afton (Forest) Trujillo, and Jeremy (Brooke) Nicklas; and great-granddaughter Kendall.

Sharon Found joy in the simple things, especially celebrating Christmas with her family and watching NASCAR.

Her memory will live on through the lives of her family and all who knew her. Her resilience, quick wit, love, and kindness will always be remembered. We will miss her.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate her life.
