Sandra Darlene Rossi

Mar 23, 1965 — Sep 9, 2026

Sandra Darlene Rossi (Wright), passed away on September 9, 2026, in Grand Junction, Colorado, at HopeWest Hospice Care Center. She was born on March 23, 1965, in Canton, Ohio.

Sandra fought a long and difficult battle with cervical cancer. In April of this year, she was admitted to the hospital in Sarasota for kidney failure. After her release, she received in-home hospice care in Florida until the end of July, when she moved to Colorado to be with her son Christian and daughter-in-law Ellianna. She died surrounded by the care and love that had defined so much of her own life.

Sandra was a woman of deep compassion, strength, and warmth. She was a licensed massage therapist, a yoga master, a Reiki healer, and practiced energy medicine, offering comfort and care to many through her work. She helped everyone she could and was often the cheeriest one in the room, an eternal optimist who spread joy and love everywhere she went. She had a gift for making others laugh, and her curious, adventurous heart carried her through a life devoted to both discovery and devotion to family. To those who knew her, she was an angel, and her kindness touched many lives.

She found happiness in yoga, pickleball, cooking, and spending time at the beach. She loved the ocean and was always creating, building, or dreaming up something new. Sandra moved her family around the country in search of a better life for her children, working incredibly hard as she cared for her three boys and for her grandson Christopher. She spent her whole life doing everything she could to take care of the people she loved most. Her children and grandchildren were at the center of her heart, and she loved them fiercely.

Sandra is survived by her sons, Christian Rossi and Nick Rossi; her daughters-in-law, Ellianna Rossi and Lourdie Pierre-Rossi; and her beloved grandchildren, Christopher Weeks, Bella Rossi, and Brandon Rossi. The love she poured into her family will remain with them always, and her memory will continue to live on in the laughter, strength, and care they share with one another.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Rossi Sr., and by her son, Michael Rossi Jr. Their memories remained part of her life and heart, and now she is at rest with them.

Sandra will be remembered for her generous spirit, her radiant optimism, and the endless love she gave to her family and to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her life was one of service, resilience, and love, and her presence will be deeply missed.
