Rose Strawn

Rose of Grand Junction passed away July 27, 2025, at HopeWest, she was 77.

Rose was born August 17, 1948, in Prosser Washington to William and Sybel Hendrickson. She spent her childhood and school years in Sunnyside, Washington and Nampa Idaho. Rose lived in Boise Idaho and worked at Hewlett Packard before moving to Camas Washington to care for her brother before he passed away.

Rose enjoyed sewing, crafts and watching Nascar on Sundays.

Rose moved to Grand Junction and later married Jim.

Rose is survived by husband Jim Strawn, sisters Lesley Turly of Grand Junction, Edna Ferguson of Kennewick Washington, nephew Nolan and Marsha Strawn of Grand Junction, Rusty and Velda Turley of San Antonio, TX; niece Tina and Joe Palasota or Camdenton, MO; stepchildren Theresa Yoder and Dave Rigsby of Grand Junction.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents and Anna and Tommy.
