She passed away at Mantey Heights Care Center, Grand Junction, Colorado in the care of Abode Hospice.

She was born July 21, 1932, in Whitewater, Colorado to Clyde and Irma Hooker, later they moved to 208 Grand Avenue, Grand Junction, Colorado. Rose was blessed to have been raised with eight sisters and five brothers.

She graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1950.

Rose Ann married James Floyd Key on October 13, 1950, and they were blessed with 54 years together. She was a devoted wife and mother of four children, Sharyl Blum, Donald Key, Sharlene (Gary) Harris and Ron (Lenna) Key. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, also dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd, son Donald, eight sisters, five brothers and several nieces, nephews and friends.

To the amazing nurses and CNA’s at Mantey Heights Care Center and Abode Hospice, the family is grateful for your love and care for Rose Ann.

A memorial service will be held September 13, 2025, at 3pm at Palisade Church of the Nazarene 3595 Front Street Palisade, Colorado 81526 with a dinner to follow.
