Pauline L. Bechtold

Pauline “Polly” Louise Bechtold born April 27, 1958 passed away on March 28, 2026 in Fruita, Colorado at the age of 67 following a long illness. Polly grew up in Wheat Ridge, Colorado and graduated from Wheat Ride High School, Home of the Farmers. As a teenager, Polly enjoyed going to concerts and volunteering with organizations that supported children with autism. Polly worked as a civilian information technology specialist for the military and spent many years employed at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, Colorado. Lowry was closed in 1994 and Polly was transferred to Alabama at that time. Polly lived in Alabama for 13 years and adopted her daughter Jasmine during those years. Polly and Jasmine later moved to Alamogordo, New Mexico. Polly mostly led a quiet and private life in her later years. Polly moved to Grand Junction, Colorado recently for health reasons and to be close to her best friend of over 50 years. Polly will be remembered for her quiet ways, love of reading and music. Polly’s final resting place will be in Golden, Colorado next to her mother’s burial
