Nedra Karen Webster Thygerson

January 7, 1943 — February 3, 2026

Nedra Karen Webster Thygerson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on February 3, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 7, 1943, in Morenci, Arizona, to Lavon and Valora Webster.

Nedra lived a Christ-centered life marked by kindness, gratitude, and quiet service. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and found great purpose and joy in serving others. She cherished her many years of service in the Church.

She graduated from New Mexico State University with a degree in Home Economics. Later in life she worked in various roles with the Mesa County School District, where she loved teaching. Her patience and willingness to share her knowledge blessed many and became part of her enduring legacy.

Nedra loved to sew, read, and bake—especially desserts—and she approached life with a gentle, happy spirit. She was always ready to serve, quick to express gratitude, and deeply thankful for the many blessings the Lord gave her. Her warmth, steady faith, and quiet strength was a source of comfort to all who knew her.

Her greatest joy on earth was her family. Nedra devoted herself wholeheartedly to supporting her children and grandchildren, attending their milestone events with love and encouragement.

Nedra is survived by her husband, Gerald Thygerson; her children, Clayton (Heidi) Thygerson, Kristy (Derek) Morrison, daughter-in-law Terrisa (Tom) Hart, Rhett (KayLynn) Thygerson, Tonya (Mike) Shoemaker, Kip (Katie) Thygerson, and Kendra (Shad) Sagers; her siblings, Frank (Marsha) Webster, Lorna (Phil) Whatcott, Janice Allen, and sister-in-law Donna Webster. She also leaves behind 32 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly and for whom she prayed faithfully.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lavon and Valora Webster; her son, Craig Thygerson; brothers, Johnny and Doug Webster; and brother-in-law John Allen.

While her absence will be deeply felt, her family finds peace in the knowledge that families are eternal and rejoices in the promise of a joyful reunion through the Savior, Jesus Christ.
