Michael was known for his deep enthusiasm for golf, dedicating countless hours to the sport he cherished. His love for nature extended beyond the fairways; he took great pleasure in camping, often enjoying the simple yet profound joy of sitting by a crackling fire under the starry sky. His talents were not confined to leisure activities alone; Michael was also recognized as an excellent winemaker, crafting cherished memories and experiences for friends and family alike. A passionate gardener, he found satisfaction in planting and nurturing life, and he often spoke fondly of swimming in the ocean, where he felt a deep connection to the beauty of the natural world.

He is survived by his brother, Mark Wiedrich; his sister, Kim (Bob) Cooke; his former wife, Carol DeAngelis; and his stepmom, Marilyn Wiedrich. Michael will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews who carry forward his spirit of love and adventure.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Stuart Wiedrich and Trudy Smith, as well as his sister, Diane Michalski. Their memories and the impact they had on his life will forever resonate within the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
