Mary Frances Turner

Mary Francis Turner, 75, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Mary was born on June 26, 1951, in Grand Junction, Colorado, to Bernardino and Martha Herrera. She lived a life marked by strength, determination, faith, and devotion to those she loved. 

Mary spent many years assembling circuit boards and enjoyed crocheting, crafts, puzzles, and time with family. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she found comfort listening to the ministry of Jimmy Swaggart. She held a special place in the life of her niece, Rainbow Heather Lee Herrera-Cook, whom she helped raise and loved as her own. 

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Nathan Turner; her father, Bernardino Herrera; and her sisters, Esther Louie Herrera-Rodell and Linda Ann Hernandez. 

She is survived by her loving mother, Martha Herrera; her brother, Antonio Herrera; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family; and many friends. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
