Lucille Bernice Reynolds was born on March 30, 1930 in Luton, Iowa to Abram Squire Vermilyea and Ruth Bernice Montgomery.
In 1953, Lucille married Glenn William Reynolds in Sioux City, Iowa. Together they raised three children; Steve, Debie, and Renee. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother.
Lucy, as she was most commonly known, worked as a secretary and bookkeeper. She played an instrumental role in planning the elite Artists Of America Art Exhibit every year in Denver from 1980 - 1989.
Her hobbies included singing with the Sweet Adelines Chorus, playing bridge, playing slot poker, and sewing.
After her retirement, Lucy volunteered with Heirlooms for Hospice, Powderhorn Ski Resort, St. Mary's Hospital, and First United Methodist Church.
Lucy always wanted to be of service to others and was known for here grace, charming smile and the best cheese cake ever!
Lucy is survived by son, Steve Reynolds {Stephanie) of Mesa, CO; daughters, Debie Sharpe and Renee Reynolds of Grand Junction, CO. Grandchildren include Yeager Sharpe, Kate Sharpe, Savannah Duncan, Sierra Rogers, and Stevenson Reynolds. Great grandchildren include Bo and Wade Duncan, and Lennon Rogers.
A celebration of life will take place at The First United Methodist Church on June 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Blaine Scott officiating.
