Lonna Valles-Gallegos

Lonna Valles-Gallegos, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 27, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. She was born on April 5, 1984, in Grand Junction, to Mark Valles and Marie Gallegos. She attended Grand Junction High School before becoming a mother and getting her GED. When not dealing with her own health issues Lonna would work as an elderly health care provider which was her passion.

Lonna truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, and spending time with her kids, nieces and nephews. Lonna had an ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

Lonna is survived by her father Mark Valles, mother Marie Gallegos, brother Junior (Meranda), sister Vanessa (Dustin), kids Nykia, Justin Jr., two nieces, four nephews, and a great nephew Marsio. Lonna is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Robert and Carmen Valles, and maternal grandparents Tommy and Anna Gallegos.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00am on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Orchard Mesa Baptist Church with a burial to follow at the Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Pastor Anthony Ybarra will officiate.
