Linda Cabe

Oct 27, 1949 — Jul 18, 2026

Linda Cabe, of Rifle, Colorado, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on July 18, 2026, at the age of 76.
Linda was born on October 27, 1949, in Rome, Georgia. She married the love of her life, Wesley Cabe, on March 1, 1969. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. Linda patiently spent 57 years putting up with Wesley’s shenanigans—a role she fulfilled with grace, humor, and unwavering devotion.
Together they welcomed three daughters into their family. In 1980, Linda and her family moved from Rome, Georgia to Rifle, Colorado where they made their home and became part of the community.
Linda dedicated her career to caring for others, working in the medical field at Clagett Memorial Hospital, Grand River Health, and later the Colorado Veterans Community Living Center, where she retired after many years of compassionate service. Although she took great pride in her career, the job she cherished most was being “Grammy.” Caring for her three beloved grandchildren brought her endless joy and was one of her greatest blessings.
Linda found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time outdoors, tending to her beautiful rose bushes, surrounding herself with the color purple, reading stories to her grandchildren, and watching the hummingbirds that faithfully visited her home.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Crystal Cabe.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Wesley Cabe; her daughters, April Costanzo (Kyle) and Brandi Smith (Scott); her cherished grandchildren, Tegan, Eliana, and Treycen, and her brother, James Camp (Cathy).
In accordance with Linda’s wishes, no services will be held.
Her kindness, quiet strength, and deep love for her family will be remembered always. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
