Leslie Grace Snellings passed from her earthly life on April 4, 2026, at HopeWest Hospice Home in Grand Junction, Colorado at age 53 following a lengthy illness. Leslie was born in Oxford, Mississippi on September 8, 1972.
Left to cherish the beautiful memories of the life of Leslie are her mom and step-dad, Anita and Scott Despain of Jonesboro, AR, the families of her sister Christina (Justin) Turner and nephew Maddax Turner of Brookland, AR, brother Paul (Alex) Snellings of Southaven, MS and nephews Logan Snellings and William Snellings, and nieces Quinn Snellings and Charlotte Mobley, and brother Jason (Sara) Snellings of Fayetteville, NC and niece Dalilah Grace Snellings and nephew Ivan Meza, step-brothers Jimmy (Chassie) Despain and Jason (Maggie) Despain and niece Lilly and step-grandmother Shirley Hall all of Jonesboro, AR. Leslie also leaves behind her dear friend and significant other, Erik Lindholm of Clifton, CO and her special aunt, Lenora Bryant and additional aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends across the United States.
Leslie is predeceased by her father, Kenneth Snellings, her grandparents Aleene and Wister Kelley and her uncle Danny Kelley all of Bruce, MS and close friends she loved like family.
Leslie was a graduate of Jonesboro High School where she was a member of the High School Band, playing the flute, oboe, and the marimba. She was also in the Thespian Club. Leslie graduated from the University of Memphis with an English degree which she utilized in her online proofreading college essays business.
Leslie was a free spirit who loved to travel and had visited every state in the United States including Alaska and Hawaii and Paris, France. Leslie loved nature and creation, especially dogs; the unusual was what she was drawn to. Leslie was a book lover and a music lover, she was quick witted, had an amazing memory, a quick dry wit, unbelievable compassion, unswerving loyalty to family, friends and the Green Bay Packers, and she loved fiercely. Leslie loved the beauty of Colorado and settled there permanently in 2016 when she met her beloved friend and traveling companion Erik.
Leslie accepted Christ as her Savior as a preteen and was baptized into the fellowship of believers at Nettleton Baptist Church, Jonesboro, AR. She proclaimed her walk with Jesus through her actions of compassion, mercy, giving and loving throughout her life.

A private Celebration of Life service will be held to honor Leslie Grace at date not yet set. Her remains will rest next to her grandmom and grandad in Bruce, MS, where she began her life. “earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, in sure and certain hope of the Resurrection to eternal life”
