Larry Don Schneider

Larry was born in LaCrosse, Kansas on September 1, 1951. He spent his life building connections with those around him and helping anyone he could. He built his life around his children, Jordon and Chelsey when they were growing up. Taking time to teach them his handyman trade and sharing his knowledge of vehicles with them when ever willing.

His love for life didn’t stop in LaCrosse, he later made his home in Grand Junction, with his husband Joe Clayton. There he and joe built a life with their chosen family where he was known and loved by many. Together they continued building friendships, helping and supporting others as they could.

Larry is survived by his husband, Joe of Grand Junction CO, son Jordon (Anna-Lena) Schneider of Portland ME, daughter, Chelsie (Brooke) McCarroll of Park City KS, Hannah Clayton of Howell, MI, Alexander Clayton of Lakewood, CO, Sister, Donna Luft of Bison, KS, grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Larry is proceeded in death by his parents Henry and Helen (Apple) Schneider, brother Eldon Schmeider, sister Emma Curnette and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Those who knew Larry will remember him for his presence, his willingness to help with anything, and the impact he had on the people who shared time with him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
