Kimberly Ann Gonzales, born December 6, 1982, in Price, Utah, passed away on September 17, 2026, in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Kimberly will be remembered as a strong and independent woman who was never afraid to speak her mind. She was loving, caring, supportive, and carried a sarcastic wit that brought personality and warmth to the lives of those around her. She worked hard throughout her life, giving 19 years to Walmart as an assistant manager and later serving four years with USPS as a mail carrier. She enjoyed her customers each day and took pride in delivering mail, supported along the way by coworkers who meant a great deal to her.
From childhood, Kimberly took part in 4-H, and over the years she held onto simple joys that reflected her spirit, including collecting dolphins and turtles. At home, her dogs, Sienna and Dexter, were her fur babies and held a special place in her heart. She also treasured family traditions, especially Christmas Eve spent together as a family and Christmas Day breakfast, moments that created lasting memories for those she loved.
Nothing brought Kimberly more happiness than time with her family. She especially loved spending time playing with her grandchildren, creating moments of laughter and closeness that will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Kaitlin Lucero and Jesse Lucero; her mother and father, Kathy Gonzales and Tiofilo Gonzales; her sister, Katie Gonzales; and her grandchildren, Adrian and Alijah. In their love for her, and in the memories they carry forward, Kimberly’s presence will remain close.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 24, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Canyon View Vineyard Church, 736 24 1/2 Road, Grand Junction, Colorado 81505.
Kimberly Ann Gonzales will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her strength, her devotion to family, her hard work, and the unmistakable way she brought herself fully and honestly to those around her.
