April 9, 1975 — November 16, 2025

John Robert Gault, a masonry legend, passed away on November 16, 2025, due to a tragic motorcycle accident. A California native, born on April 9, 1975, John was a remarkable individual whose impact resonated deeply within both his profession and his family.

A dedicated and hardworking man, John showcased his extraordinary skill as one of the best masons in the valley. His commitment to his craft earned him a revered place among his peers and marked him as a figure of respect in the community. Education was important to John, and he laid a strong foundation for his life as a talented baseball player at Central High School.

Those closest to John remembered him as a caring person who genuinely loved his family and kept his friends close. His generous spirit shone brightly in every interaction, infused with a captivating personality that made him both a badass and a loving figure. John had a particular fondness for his gold tooth, his tattoos, and the joy of dancing, which often brought laughter and light to those around him.

John's interests extended well beyond his professional life; he enjoyed riding his bike and motorcycle, and he treasured the time he spent playing with his grandchildren, Izabella Bingham, Andres Bingham, and Mateo Gault. These moments of joy were further enriched by his love for relaxing after a long day with a good movie, a gourmet steak, and perhaps rolling a joint. He relished a unique bond with his family, particularly with Ian, his son. Together, they created cherished memories, including walks along the river where John introduced Ian to the art of fly fishing and memorable trips to California. John made Ian feel invincible, and their connection was one of pride and admiration, especially as Ian observed his father's recent determination to do better in life.

John leaves behind his son Ian Gault and Ian’s wife, Anai Gallegos; his son, Evan Gault; his daughter, Hayden Gault; his parents, Jennifer and John McConaghy; and three beloved grandchildren, Izabella Bingham, Andres Bingham, and Mateo Gault. He is preceded in death by dear family members Dolores "Mimi" Burns, Matthew Wood, and Joe and Velma Garcia.

As we remember John Robert Gault, we celebrate not only his impressive accomplishments but also the light and warmth he brought into the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
