John Benson

John Benson, age 93, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026.

John lived a full and meaningful life marked by kindness, quiet strength, and an appreciation for simple pleasures. He especially enjoyed fishing, finding peace and satisfaction in time spent near the water. Those moments reflected the patience and thoughtfulness that defined him throughout his life.

He will be remembered fondly by family and friends who were touched by his steady presence and gentle nature. John’s life was well lived, and his memory will be carried on with gratitude and love.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11am at Snyder Memorials and Funeral Home.
