Jimmi Willard

Jimmi (McCaskill) Price Willard, 90, of Grand Junction, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.
Jimmi was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and moved to Southern California with her mother, Vena, and her sister, Dorothy. 

In 1954 she married William Price, and in 1963 they welcomed their son, Tyler. Three years later the family moved to Grand Junction, where Jimmi made her home for the majority of her life. She was always on the move. She loved music and dancing, was an avid sportswoman, traveled every chance she got, and gave her time generously as a volunteer. 

In 2001 she married Ken Willard, and the two shared many happy years together.

Jimmi’s legacy carries on through her grandchildren, Joshua Price and Kelsey Price, and her great-grandson, Oliver Price. She was preceded in death by her son, Tyler Price, and her husbands, William Price and Ken Willard. Heartfelt thanks to Ryan Raimer, a friend and caregiver in her later years, and to Kristi Vancil, who remained family to Jimmi through the end and was by her side in her final days. Special thanks also to the hospice team for the compassionate care they gave her.
