Jennifer Lee Bradford, 45, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 4, 2026, after an extended illness. Though her journey included seasons of pain and suffering, Jennifer was known for her unwavering faith, her positive attitude, and the bright humor she brought to everyone around her.
Jennifer was born on February 10, 1981, and grew up in Lakewood, Colorado. During her senior year in high school she moved with her family to the Grand Junction area. Jen was witty, quick with a joke, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved cooking and sharing meals with those she loved, and she enjoyed posting her creations on her recipe blog, My Mobile Recipes (mymobilerecipes.blogspot.com).
Jen also loved the outdoors. Until the last few years, she enjoyed kayaking, riding ATVs, fishing, and camping—activities that allowed her to appreciate God’s creation and spend time with family. She also had a deep love for music—she played the guitar and piano and loved to sing.
Jennifer loved all things “Norway,” an appreciation she learned from her great-grandma Hatch. Her faithful rescue dog, Baron, was her constant companion and best buddy.
After turning her life over to Jesus Christ, her faith became her foundation and gave her strength through every trial. Her favorite verse was:
2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
She treasured the book Heaven by Randy Alcorn, which reflected her hope and confidence in the promise of eternal life.
Jennifer is survived by her loving parents, Doug and Jan Bradford of Fruita, Colorado; her sisters Alyssa Miles and her husband Eric, and their children Chloe and Will; and Annie Sellers and her husband Kyle, and their children Peyton and Micah. She is also survived by her grandmother, Donna Bradford of Napa, California, along with aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her dearly.
Jennifer’s family and friends will remember her for her strong faith in God, sharing her spiritual insights, her joyful spirit, creativity in the kitchen, love of music, and the kindness and thankfulness she showed to those around her.
In Lieu of Flowers Donations may be made to Twin Peaks Bible Camp – Colbran, Colorado twinpeaksbiblecamp.org
Gifts will go toward a memorial bench in Jennifer’s name. Jen would love knowing that these gifts will help support the building of the new camp chapel and bless many lives in the years to come.
