Janey Dell Joslin

August 2, 1951 — April 19, 2025

Janey Dell Joslin, born on August 2, 1951, brought joy, humor, tremendous love, and a sprinkle of mischief to the lives she touched. Janey departed this world after an unexpected illness on April 19, 2025, with her son by her side. She was a devoted mother, an extraordinary, loving grandmother (the best), and a crucial asset to the many companies she assisted. She was a true gem that loved this valley. Her educational journey began at Central High School in Grand Junction before venturing onto college in Denver. She returned home to dedicate her professional life to managing the finances for various construction companies and her HOA with the same dedication and care she had for those she loved. She certainly loved deeply! Janey began every day with her Bible and inspiring scripture. She was devoted and selfless and would not think twice about dropping everything and caring for her loved ones.

Janey always had the biggest smile and laugh. She had a zest for life, a witty sense of humor, and an insatiable wanderlust. Nothing made her heart sing more than traveling to new places with her son Eric and her beloved grandbabies, Brooke and Mackynlee. Recently, she whisked them away to Disneyland, where they even got her on a roller coaster. She was always game to do anything and cherished many adventures and lifetime memories with her family.

Janey's hobbies were wide-ranging and reflected her spirit. From traveling, reading books under vast skies, to hunting and camping trips filled with s’mores and fishing tales, she found time for every passion and adventure. She embraced every moment with open arms, whether it was the thrill of casting a line into a serene lake, the quiet joy of turning the pages, or camping and surviving side-by-side rides. Janey loved playing games with family and friends. She was a good sport, but almost always won anyway! She had the same luck gambling; her sly smile and generosity will forever be remembered.

Her pride and joy resided in her son, Eric (who always caught the biggest fish, harvested the biggest animals, and could never do wrong). Watching him grow into fatherhood was one of her proudest accomplishments. Janey radiated love and humor, lighting up every room she entered. She leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and an abundance of unforgettable memories.

While her beloved parents, Mack and Virginia Foust, sister Charlotte, and Grand puppy Knox have already welcomed her home, Janey's laugh will echo in the memories of all who knew her. Her loving spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those she leaves behind—brother LeRoy Foust and Sister-In-Law Rose, her beloved son Eric, her precious granddaughters, Brooke and Mackynlee Foust, her dearly loved family members, and countless friends.

Janey Dell Joslin was truly one of a kind, embodying the notion that life is a grand adventure best shared with those you love. May her extraordinary spirit continue to inspire us to travel, laugh, love, and relish every moment we’re blessed with. Safe travels, Janey. We love you so much
