Hugh George Sieber

Hugh George Sieber, a lifelong resident of Molina, Colorado, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, just two days shy of his 93rd birthday. Born on August 15, 1932, Hugh spent his life dedicated to the land as a rancher and farmer, notably raising Suffolk sheep, a testament to his deep connection to agriculture and nature.

Hugh graduated from Plateau Valley High School, building a strong foundation that would carry him into a lifetime of hard work and commitment to his family and community. Known for his unwavering dedication to his craft, he cultivated not only the earth but also lasting relationships with those around him.

Beyond his career, Hugh cherished his time spent with family and friends. He loved his wife, Mary, and took great pride in their four daughters, Lisa, Gail, Jennifer, and Elnora. Hugh was also a proud grandfather, enjoying the joyful chaos that comes with several grandchildren, as well as the bonds he forged with numerous nieces and nephews.

In his spare time, Hugh delighted in outdoor pursuits. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, where he found solace and adventure in nature. His hobbies extended to searching for arrowheads, reflecting his appreciation for history and the treasures that the great outdoors can hold.

Hugh’s legacy is marked by the love he shared and the lessons he imparted. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, and brothers, who he holds dear in memory.
