Gary Lee Ormsby

Born in Montrose, CO. To Patsy Ruth (Palmer) Ormsby, and Vernon James Ormsby Jr.
Gary Lee Ormsby will be remembered with deep love and admiration as a devoted father, proud Grandpapa, cherished brother, and loyal friend.
Gary had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and wisdom, driven by a deep curiosity and a desire to understand the echoes of the past. His passion for history, learning, and discovery touched everyone who knew him.
Outside of hard work, Gary found joy in nature while exploring off the beaten path. He turned over every stone, both literally and figuratively. He was a lover of music and could often be found jamming out at concerts, harmonica in hand, he also had a huge appreciation for quality films, and arts.

To know Gary was to feel the presence of someone truly unique, thoughtful, spirited, and endlessly inquisitive. His warmth, wit, and wonder for the world will be deeply missed and fondly remembered

There will be a grave side service at Memorial Gardens June 30th at 1pm and a celebration of life at Duck Pond park afterwards.
