Dr. Timothy K. Brady was born on July 25, 1950, in Alexandria, Virginia, and passed away on June 6, 2025. He and his two sisters, Sherry and Pamela, were raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, by their mother, Kathryn Brady, and grandmother, Rae Keasling.
Tim spent the first 24 years of his life in Minneapolis. He graduated from West High School in 1968, where he excelled in athletics. He served as captain of both the wrestling and football teams and was named All-State in football during his senior year. He went on to attend Augsburg College, graduating summa cum laude in 1972 with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. He earned his Doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.
In 1978, Tim moved to Grand Junction, Colorado, where he would build a life rooted in service, love, and community. He married the love of his life, Lorna Anderson, in 1984. He had three kids, Miranda, Trent, and Paige. His son Trent and daughter-in-law Katie (Cupp) have three sons—Sawyer, Solomon, and Remy—who lovingly knew Tim as “Popsicle”. He loved his family well and expressed it through humor, play and heartfelt connection.
Tim founded Brady Chiropractic Group and served the Western Slope community with dedication for 31 years. He held leadership roles within the Colorado Chiropractic Association, including board member, president, and chairman of the board. After retiring from clinical practice, he continued to educate and inspire by teaching at Colorado Christian University for 14 years. Brady Chiropractic Group continues to serve the community under the ownership of Dr. David Hanson.
A passionate outdoorsman, Tim found peace and joy among Colorado’s mountains and forests. In 1994, the Bradys, along with their dear friends the Roberts family, purchased a mountain property in Southwestern Colorado. The two families spent the next 12 years building a log cabin by hand—harvesting trees from the land itself. “The Cabin” remains a beloved gathering place and a living tribute to Tim’s memory.
Tim viewed the world through the eyes of an artist. Watercolor became his preferred medium, and he spent years refining his craft at the Grand Junction Art Center and alongside friends and mentors whose work he admired. He later served as president of the Western Colorado Watercolor Society, eager to share his love for art and beauty with others.
In 1992, Tim was baptized and began a lifelong journey of faith. Guided by friends, mentors, and his growing love for Christ, he served God, his family, and his community with humility and compassion. He was actively involved in Sertoma Club, the Grand Junction Lions Club, Canyon View Vineyard Church, Warrior at Heart Ministry, and the Charis Prison Ministry in Delta, Colorado. He had a heart for the suffering and the forgotten, offering them hope and healing through Christ’s love.
Tim lived a life of purpose, creativity, and compassion. He touched countless lives through his healing hands, generous heart, and enduring faith. Though he is deeply missed, his legacy lives on in the family he loved, the community he served, and the beauty he brought into the world. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
