Deborah "Debbie" Garner Ferguson, 66, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away on February 29, 2024. She was born on November 9, 1957, in Sacramento, CA, to the late Daniel "Danny" Garner and Phyllis Garner. Debbie was a hard-working and strong-willed woman with a huge heart. She loved her family fiercely and was there for many friends who became family in their times of need.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Thane Ferguson; mother, Phyllis Garner; brother, Lawrence Garner; beloved children: Daniel (Nicole) Luoto, Laurie (Bill) Bennett, Lawrence (Angela) Luoto; and cherished grandchildren: Stephanie, Hunter, Mackenzy, Johnathan, Sebastian, Nicholas, and Valerie. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel "Danny" Garner, and her sister, Danita Phillips.
Debbie was a graduate of Floyd Kellam High School in Virginia Beach, VA. She had a diverse career, working as a restaurant manager, in civil service, as a dispatcher, and as a hotel manager. In her leisure time you would find her gardening and completing arts and crafts.
A celebration of life for Debbie will be held at a later date. Snyder's Funeral Home in Grand Junction, CO, is assisting with the arrangements.
Rest in peace, Debbie. Your memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.
