Dawn Marie McNeal

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our loved one Dawn Meadow McNeal of Yampa, CO, who departed this life on 03/09/2026 at the age of 27 in Grand Junction, CO. Dawn was born in Reno, NV and she was the only child of Wanda McNeal.

She grew up in Oak Creek, CO. During her school years, she played volleyball and wrestled. She attended Soroco High School. She enjoyed camping, being outdoors, and spending time with her numerous friends.

Dawn’s daughter, Hope Sowers, was the light of her life. Dawn is survived by her mother Wanda, her daughter Hope, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as a host of friends and extended family who will forever treasure her memory.

Dawn and her beautiful smile will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
