Dan D. Workman

Dan Duane Workman was born on August 22, 1965 in Grand Junction, CO. He passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2025 in Grand Junction, CO. 

He was preceded in death by his brother Loren Workman, Father LeRoy Workman, Mother Louise Workman and Step-Mother Maydell Workman. He is survived by his sons Dalton, Darris and Logan, his brothers Steve and Dave Workman, sister Pam Workman, Step-brothers Glen and Bernie Kendall, multiple nieces and nephews and one granddaughter. 

He graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1984 then went into the workforce. He was a manager for City Market and Safeway, a salesman for DEX, and at the end, one hell of a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. 

Dan was very well known and loved by many, especially his family, people on postal route 8, and all of his peeps on Rhine Court. He was a very generous person with an outgoing personality. He could make friends with anyone. He loved golfing, fishing, hunting and taking four-wheeler rides on Pinyon Mesa (Glade Park, CO). He will be greatly missed. He loved his kitty cat Tabby very much and I'm sure she's missing him too. We all are!!

There will be a Celebration of his life on Sunday July 13, 2025 at Chipeta Golf Course 222 29 Road Grand Junction, CO 81503 from 3pm-7pm. Everyone is welcome to join.
