Dan Nees

Beloved father to Aaron and Amy Nees and dear husband to Susie Nees. Dan spent his entire career as an Entomologist with the Colorado Department of Agriculture in Palisade Colorado. He played a large role in the control of non-native invasive plants and insects throughout Colorado. As a result, many acres throughout the state are now reclaimed. He had a love for fishing, boating, and spending time with family in the mountains. He spent many years coaching his kids in marbles who both became U.S. national marbles champions. He was a highly driven, intelligent and respected man. He was a great husband and father and will indeed be missed.
